How does DiolazeXL laser hair removal work?
The DiolazeXL laser uses a specially designed handheld device that allows the aesthetician to apply laser energy directly to the treatment area. Due to its larger size, DiolazeXL treats multiple follicles at once, a characteristic that places it above other laser treatments in terms of its efficiency.
The color pigment in the hair, the melanin, absorbs the laser energy into the follicle, damaging its internal structure. Some hair colors absorb energy more effectively than others, including darker browns and blacks. Laser hair removal isn’t typically as effective for white or red hair.

What happens during a laser hair removal session?
During your laser hair removal treatment, you lie comfortably, and your aesthetician applies a cooling gel. While you both wear protective eyewear, they pass the DiolazeXL device over the unwanted hair. You may feel a quick pop or snap, but usually, it’s virtually painless.
Depending on the size and number of treatment areas, your session may last anywhere from 5-60 minutes. For optimal results, you need six treatments spaced from 4-10 weeks apart.
You need a series of treatments because hair follicles all grow at different rates. During each session, your aesthetician treats and re-treats different follicles to inhibit hair growth in the entire treatment area effectively.
