How does RF technology work?

BodyFX and MiniFX use therapeutic levels of heat created by RF energy to destroy fat cells and promote collagen production. There is no downtime for BodyFX. Patients will notice redness and warmth in the treated area, which will subside after a few hours. This warmth is equivalent to the sensation felt after a deep tissue massage and will not prevent anyone from their regular activities. Sometimes redness may persist for 1-2 days in the areas with more delicate skin, such as the neck and under the chin. Do not try to cool down or further warm up the treatment area at home. Avoid scrubbing or scratching your skin, and keep it moisturized. We recommend staying well-hydrated (6-8 glasses of water daily) to facilitate the elimination of dead fat cells from your body.
